SIP-Pakistan project aims to provide a platform to students to extend their social interaction with society. In Pakistan, there are many government and non-government social institutes who run from charity or self-generated funds and yet they need strong financial, man power as well as moral support of members of society. Institutes or organizations like old homes, welfare of socially handicapped, orphanages, rehabilitation centers and many others can be targeted by SIP. These types of organizations are often neglected by the society. Aim of this project is to create a better society by joining hands with young IEEE volunteers. Volunteers of AGs will be given an option to select any social welfare organization, and plan an activity for people of that organization. It will help the volunteers to see bitter harsh realities of life and provide them an opportunity to think about the welfare of socially neglected ones. IEEE volunteers will be able to think beyond limits, outside the box to solve real life problems and this project will also carve the young engineers into a better, mature and responsible human beings.
